Albert Wynn has 25+ years of experience in program development and program management. Al specializes in helping higher education institutions develop innovative ideas into fully functional programming in the STEM fields.

Al previously served in the Marine and Naval Reserves as an Engineering Duty Officer, retiring after 24 years.  His background is in Physics and Environmental Science. Currently, Al is the Associate Director of the Tallahassee Community College’s (TCC) Wakulla Environmental Institute (WEI), where he oversees Program Development, Curriculum Development, Grants and Special Projects. Al is the Director of the Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS-Drones) Training Program at TCC and is the Chair of the USDA State Technical Sub-committee on Oyster Restoration in Florida. The Wakulla Environmental Institute is a 207-acre campus in one of the most biodiverse hotspots in the United States. Al is responsible for developing a Sustainable Program that includes Agriculture, Drones, Forestry Management, and alternative energy sources.

Al has served as PI for state and federal grants and has worked with state and federal agencies in program development. Al also assists K-12 school districts in developing S.T.E.M programs and curricula utilizing drones and coding.

Al has earned two degrees from Florida A&M University—a B.S. in Applied Physics and an M.S. in Computational Theoretical Physics. He is now a Ph.D. candidate in Aquatic and Terrestrial Ecology at the University.
