Jane Reffelt is passionate about helping nonprofits build their capacity so they can achieve their goals to create a lasting influence within their communities. Jane is especially skilled at grant writing, federal appropriations, public policy, and research.
Jane also serves as a Business Development Associate at Merchant McIntyre Associates, where she helps transition new clients from the onboarding process to their client service teams. During this process, she specializes in identifying federal funding priorities.
Jane previously worked for Grassroots Health, a DC-based nonprofit, where she helped implement the organization’s programs and recruit new volunteers. Alongside her professional experience in nonprofits, Jane devotes considerable time to volunteering for various organizations.
Jane has earned a B.A. and MPA from American University in Washington, DC.
Outside of work, Jane enjoys assorted workout classes (SoulCycle and Rumble are her current favorites), book club, and trying new soup recipes.
