Amy Bradbury has 30+ years of experience working in government and the nonprofit sector. She specializes in program implementation, compliance monitoring, and executive leadership. Amy's expertise extends to working with state agencies, nonprofit organizations, disaster response teams, and law enforcement entities.

Throughout her career, Amy has excelled in grant proposal development, program design, policy creation, and outreach efforts. Her proficiencies extend to policy and procedure development, reflecting a talent for building robust frameworks within organizations. Amy is a recognized trainer, having conducted sessions on nonprofit management and federal funding compliance for national and international audiences.

Amy started her career with the Governor’s International Affairs Commission while a student at Florida State University, working with port authorities, sister-to-sister international programs, study abroad programs, and grants for international trade development. She implemented the digital divide and statewide nonprofit capacity-building initiatives of then-Governor Bush and then-Governor Crist, while also serving with disaster recovery and mitigation initiatives as the director of the Florida Disaster Fund. Amy was a national trainer for AmeriCorps*State and other programs for the Corporation for National and Community Service while serving as the Grants Administrator for Volunteer Florida. Amy established a centralized grants office for Leon County Schools (LCS) and developed two mentoring programs (ReadingPals and MathPals) in partnership with the United Way of the Big Bend. Under her leadership, LCS increased its grant funding and increased its proficiency expending awarded grants despite an economic downturn.

Currently, Amy serves as the Director of Financial Services at Tallahassee Community College, where she oversees sponsored programs, budget development, and fiscal compliance. She plays a pivotal role in managing a combined annual budget exceeding $165 million and more than 150 grants supporting one-quarter of the college’s workforce. Amy developed procedures and trainings specific to fiscal reporting, grant management, procurement, budget management, and program implementation. Amy excels at capacity building, demonstrating a commitment to enhancing organizational capabilities and resilience.

Amy earned a B.S. in Finance from Florida State University and an M.A. in Management, Leadership, and Strategy from Michigan State University.

Beyond her professional responsibilities, Amy dedicates her time to community service. She currently serves as the Treasurer of Family Promise of the Big Bend, an organization dedicated to helping homeless veterans and families at risk of homelessness. Outside of work, Amy enjoys homestead activities like gardening, supporting the family farm, and caring for various pets.
