Brandon Bookout has spent his career focused on identifying federal funding opportunities and helping grow nonprofit organizations. Brandon is passionate about serving institutions and organizations that educate people, heal people, house people, feed people, empower people, and create jobs for people.  

Brandon leverages his grant expertise by identifying growth areas, building internal capacity, and aligning funding opportunities with the priority needs of clients. He plays a central in the onboarding process for every new Amplio Services client.  Specifically, Brandon plans for, conducts, and drives the follow-up action items for Comprehensive Needs Analyses.

Brandon also serves as a Federal Grants Director at Merchant McIntyre Associates.  He plays a critical role in the project development and onboarding process for new clients.

Brandon previously served on the Board of Directors for Camp Crosley YMCA – a youth camp in Northern Indiana.  During his tenure on the Board, Camp Crosley implemented a multimillion-dollar expansion project to increase capacity and construct a new aquatic facility.

Brandon also served as a Municipal Consultant, where he planned and executed several economic development projects. Notably, Brandon led the development of five-year park master plans for the City of Winchester (IN) and the Town of Gaston (IN) and assisted in the development and organization of the Indiana Automotive Council, a partnership between Indiana automotive manufacturers and the Indiana Economic Development Corporation.

A lifelong Hoosier, Brandon earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance and a Bachelor of Arts in Brand Development and Merchandising from Indiana University (Bloomington).

Outside work, Brandon enjoys spending time with his wife, Amanda, and their two sons, Mason and Sam. Brandon is a lifelong automotive enthusiast, avid water skier, and BBQ extraordinaire.
