Rick Frazier has 43 years of experience in higher education, government and non-governmental business, and the nonprofit sector. His expertise is grant writing, grant management, program design and implementation, program management, and program evaluation.
Rick previously worked for seven years in the North Carolina Community College system and 23 years in the state of Florida Community College system. During his career, he has been responsible for more than $40 million in external awards (federal, state, and local). Rick has served as both Principal Investigator and Co-Investigator on numerous grant projects, including National Science Foundation (NSF) grants and other federal grants from the Department of Labor and Community Block grants. Further, Rick has managed large teams (70+) and large dollar assets ($8+ million) annually in the community college environment.
He holds a B.A. and M.A. from Florida State University and has completed additional post-graduate work at Florida State University and Western Carolina University.
